During the 1970s, a couple with a baby boarded an airplane that was leaving
from somewhere in the U.S. and heading to Canada. The woman had the baby wrapped
in a blanket and held it to her tightly. She refused to let anyone else handle
the child, and when the flight attendant asked if she would like a bottle heated
for it, the woman declined. So for the next several hours, the woman continued
to hold the baby, without feeding it once, and for this reason, and the fact
that the baby had not made a sound during the entire flight, the flight
attendant became suspicious. She contacted the authorities, and upon landing,
the couple was detained at the airport. When the authorities pried the
“baby” away from the couple, they found that it was dead, and had been
gutted, stuffed with crack, and sewn back up.
