A young woman went through the
drive-thru of a fast-food chicken place and ordered a broiler sandwich without
mayonnaise. As she was driving away, she took a bite out of the sandwich, and
discovered there was mayo in it after all. Being very diet-conscious, she
immediately threw the sandwich back in the bag and continued driving. But later
that evening, she checked into a local hospital with a serious case of food
poisoning. The hospital took her broiler sandwich for testing, only to discover
that it contained a tumor, and the substance she had thought was mayonnaise was
actually pus from that tumor.
(Other variations: A woman was eating a piece of chicken from a fast food
place, and thought it tasted funny. On closer examination, she saw that it had a
tail. The chicken wasn’t actually chicken – it was a rat that had fallen
into the deep-fry vat with the pieces of chicken!)
