One night a young man was
finally taking out a girl whom he really liked. And since the date was going
so well, he thought maybe he might get some action while they parked in the
woods. As they sat in the car, and he turned off the lights and turned on the
radio. She started to get into it as well, when a news bulletin came on the
radio. The newscaster explained that a patient had escaped from the state
insane asylum, and this man was considered dangerous. The distinguishing
feature of this man was his hook arm.
The young girl became upset when she heard this, particularly since they
were alone in the woods, so she asked her date to take them home. But he just
locked all the doors and said they’d be fine, hoping to get her back in the
mood. She relaxed a bit, but then heard a scratching noise on the roof of the
car, which freaked her out even more. The boy reassured her that it was only a
tree branch on top of the car, but she began to cry and begged him to take her
home. He finally agreed but was angry and frustrated, so he revved up and sped
away, driving her home in record time, and when they arrived, he didn’t even
get out to walk her to the door. So she told him good night, and got out of
the car. Knowing her date was upset, she turned back to look at him, only to
see a hook hanging on the door on her side of the car.
