“Final Touches”
Felicity finds out that she was never dropped from a philosophy class because Meghan forgot to mail the drop form. Now she has to cram for the final, which is worth 50% of the grade. She needs to get an A just to pass the class, but she's never even gone to class. This plot line is a totally unbelievable because, in most schools, even if you can't drop the class, you can withdraw even on the last day. Granted, it will show up on your transcript as incomplete or withdrawn in the last week, but it wouldn't be an F.
Richard, as class president of the student body, has come up with a brilliant idea for the low funds in the student treasury — a calendar of the hottest babes in school. Meghan tells him that if he's going to do a calendar of women, he has to do one of men as well. Meghan and Sean agree to help pick out the candidates.
Noel and Felicity meet with Noel's professor, his contact at the cartoon website. His professor tells them that he likes their idea, but there's only one slot left and two other groups are presenting their ideas on Friday. Noel and Felicity have to come up with 21 cartoon strip ideas by then in order to be considered. Felicity is really stressed out about her final, but she doesn't want to desert Noel so she tries to do both. She works with Noel till 1:30 a.m., then starts studying. She's so sleep-deprived and stressed that when Noel comes over to work again she seems distracted. Noel gets mad and yells at Felicity for copping out. Felicity just breaks down and bursts into tears.
Noel can't figure out exactly what's going on until he talks to Ben. Ben tells him about Felicity's final. Noel feels like a real jerk for telling Felicity that she isn't a good friend when she was really going out of her way to help him. He goes back to her place and apologizes, saying that he's just disappointed because he was really looking forward to working with her. I think there's some underlying feelings going on here on Noel's part, which isn't surprising considering they dated for a while. Noel calls his professor and asks for an extension till Monday. His professor says that it's not possible, but Noel lies to Felicity so that she won't feel bad. He also reveals that he was the TA for the class she's cramming for, so he can help her study.
The sexual tension between Sean and Meghan is so thick that they're ready to rip each other's throats out. It's been a month since Sean's operation, but when they try to have sex, Sean has a little problem. Meghan is very understanding, but with no sex they're both getting edgy. It doesn't help that they're helping Richard pick candidates for the student calendar because both get jealous. When the first guy walks in, Meghan pokes and prods at the guys toned pecs. Sean gets all pissed off, but then when this hot Asian girl walks in, Sean and Richard can't stop drooling. Meghan gets angry, and the two can't stop bickering. In a nice moment, however, Tracy happens to drop by when Meghan tells him to take his shirt off. I have to say, he looked pretty damn good. Meghan decides on the spot that he's going to be in the calendar.
