Alyson Lee Hannigan, 26, got her start in show
business at four years old, modeling and appearing in commercials (for such
companies as McDonald's, Six Flags Amusement Parks, and Oreo cookies). Born in
Washington D.C., her family moved to Atlanta when she was two, and to California
when she was 11, so that Alyson could audition for more roles. At fourteen, she
got her first big role, in the film, "My Stepmother is an Alien," with
Dan Akroyd, but didn’t get famous until she got the part of Willow on "Buffy."
Since then, she has gotten parts in major hit films, and is remembered for her
break-out role in “American Pie.” Alyson enjoys soccer, old Shirley Temple
movies, surfing the web, and kickboxing. She also loves spending time with her
two dogs and three cats at her home in Los Angeles.
