Here at CampusNut, we go wherever the wind takes us. We have no set schedule, but we do have daily objectives that need to be fulfilled. Today for example, Gil needs a haircut. Jeyun and I have volunteered our styling services and will be cutting Gil’s hair. Don’t worry, we will be taking before and after pics and posting them on the website. Hopefully, our CEO won’t be bald after today… cross your fingers!
Our daily activities revolve around eating and drinking. To be an office employee at CampusNut, one must be of legal drinking age. Thursdays are Pina Colada Days; we “quietly” sit at our desks and sip frozen drinks. Jeyun will bake homemade chocolate chip cookies this afternoon (YAY!).
At present, we are discussing our lunch options as we listen to “It’s Not Unusual,” by Tom Jones. An hour of our day is dedicated to downloading music from Napster. Macy Gray and Jessica Simpson songs are banned from the office and their music will never be heard in the presence of our CEO. For details, e-mail Gil at ykim@campusnut.com.
Young E is very serious about his tasks. As Director of Content, he isolates himself in a separate room where he writes, reads and edits book summaries. He comes out to join us for meals, drinks, and the occasional Good Humor ice cream bar. He gets very upset when he hears “More Than This,” by 10,000 Maniacs.
When we are not doing all of these fun and goofy things, we are more than likely sitting at our respective computers entering meaningless data with the hopes of building a really great and exciting web site!
